Service and Support Engineer - Santa Clarita - Media company

The Company We are currently supporting a company at the forefront of innovation in Media and Sports broadcasting. They have created intercom technology used to communicate in sporting and live events, such as F1 and Soccer, the NFL and other huge live events for major artists/entertainers around the globe. The Role In this service and support role you will be supervising and taking charge of Customer Support cases, including being available 24/7 for the SLA hotline. You will be assisting customers through remote online sessions, replicating issues on service lab equipment and actively educating clients, business partners, and team members to improve their understanding of products and solutions, technical abilities, and skills. You will also manage and organize lab systems for remote Customer Success teams, handle demo equipment and solutions for customers and tradeshows, including inventory management. You will be responsible for providing commissioning and training services for projects according to scope and schedule, collaborating with Teams and Customers to prepare for onsite commissioning and training. You will also ensure all necessary documentation is completed for proper handover to Support teams including tracking expenses and ensuring appropriate services are quoted and ordered. The Individual Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology, software/electrical engineering, computer science, or related field. Minimum 4+ years of experience in relevant market fields, preferably in the broadcast/entertainment sector. Familiarity with communication and digital audio/video technologies and standards. Knowledge of IP technologies and cloud-based media streaming technologies. Technical proficiency with live production equipment, fiber optic systems, and RF systems. Experience with development and CRM tools and software. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to travel frequently domestically and internationally.

Technical Support Manager

We are currently seeking an Accomplished Senior Support Engineer with a background supporting OTT/ Live streaming contribution technology. The company are a European Founded organization that have expanded into North America and offer some of the most cutting edge technology in the video contribution space. The company have had some resounding success and have tripled in revenue in 2023. They are looking for an experienced Engineer to join a growing team in the woodland hills area of California. Key Responsibilities Technical Support, Remote/Onsite Commissioning, & Training * Provide troubleshooting, problem replication of product solutions in US & Canada * Provide resolution to customer issues * Produce simulations of customer reported issues and test various options to resolve the issue * Work with product development and tier 3 support for problem escalation, reporting, and resolution * Work extensively with the US' lab and test equipment for continuous growth in supporting customer applications. * Arrange for module exchange or arrange for repair of customer product * Enter service calls into CRM system accurately * Provide on-site and/or remote commissioning * Deliver operation and maintenance training to customers About You: * Relevant higher education, to a minimum BSc preferred * 3+ years of proven work experience as a support / system technical engineer * Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with compression for contribution, OTT, and distribution applications * Demonstrate expert knowledge of the technical broadcast market with focus on Audio/Video/Metadata compression processing in ST2110 and compression formats. * Familiarity with SSH, Switch and OS IP configuration @ layer 2 and 3 * Experience with SDN/Orchestration systems, use of API's & control interfaces within the broadcast market (NMOS, REST) * 2+ years of experience in IP Network engineering role * 2+ years of experience and/or certification on IP switch fabric * AWS/GCP/Azure application and interface experience or certification is preferred * Spanish and English speaking is preferred

The role will sit in their specialized division of customized AV solutions and will focus on selling into Government, Corporate, Churches and Museums. What You Get to Do: The Visual Systems Territory Account Manager, TAM, is responsible for development and implementation of Audio Visual, AV, sales, marketing strategies for the Mid Atlantic Territory to increase sales, profit and market share through direct and indirect sales channels. Candidate must possess and exhibit proven experience with Audio Visual technologies and solutions. Sales Performance: Responsible for territory wide management, enablement strategies and AV sales growth of all products and services within assigned geography and customer base. Meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual territory quota for AV product and services along with achieving strategic goals, targets as assigned by sales management. End users Primary Focus: Develop new customers and grow existing accounts to achieve overall AV sales objectives and maximize customer satisfaction. Directly engage end users, customers to create value that solves customer problems using our AV product and service offerings. Cultivate key, strategic end user customers within territory and work closely with sales, marketing and technical resources to win business through our approved supply chain partners. Treat all customers and partners fairly and in compliance with all applicable laws and policies. Reseller partners Supporting Focus: Works with partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding AV sales activities, strategies, and business opportunities that will produce year over year growth targets.
