The Company
Our client is an innovative startup in the robotics industry making significant strides in technological advances for robotic arms to support the manufacturing industry. The company was founded by serial entrepreneurs whose previous startup was indirectly acquired by Tesla. Their current team boasts a world-class group of scientists and engineers with experience from Tesla, Apple, IBM, Bosch, iRobot, etc. The company is currently backed by venture capitalists and private funding and is considered a seed stage startup, although they have been in operations for 2 years and have a product launching this month.
The Role
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will develop algorithms for a broad range of computer vision tasks, including object detection, classification, segmentation, localization, etc. You will collaborate with software engineers, machine learning engineers, and robotics engineers in integrating and deploying those algorithms on a next-generation industrial robot system to support our clients.
The Individual
As the ideal candidate you will have the following skill and experience:
- MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of algorithm development experience in computer vision
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (Tensorflow or PyTorch)
- Ability to multi-task multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment
