
Resourcer / Delivery Consultant
Job Description
The primary role of a Resourcer or Delivery Consultant is to provide support to the more senior consultants in the business. It is also a great way for people with no previous recruitment experience to learn the ropes, before moving onto the full cycle role and managing their own desk. This job role can be fairly varied depending on the needs of the experienced recruitment consultant on a week-to-week basis. However, key duties will include:
- Screening candidates and matching them to suitable job roles
- Searching our database and exploring employment opportunities with candidates
- Searching job boards and writing ads for each role you are recruiting for
- Contacting candidates to arrange interviews via telephone and email
- Establishing contacts to help build the client database
- Negotiate salary and benefit issues with job candidates
- Respond to general consultancy enquiries
- Arranging telephone and face-to-face interviews
- General data admin and paperwork
To succeed in this particular role you’ll need to be an excellent judge of character and be able to think on your feet to match candidates to relevant job opportunities quickly and effectively. You should also be a confident communicator, as this role will involve constant interaction with a range of different level people and personalities.
A recruitment resourcer will earn in the region of £18,000-£20,000 a year, with commission rewarded when each of your candidates are placed. Our training scheme for entry level candidates will provide you with a platform to work your way up the ladder quickly, based on your achievements and initial success.
